la Casina sul Sandalo is in fact only 15 minutes away from the beautiful city of Ferrara and 30 minutes from the "Small Venice", the city of Comacchio and the beaches of the Lidi Ferraresi. Beside these, Bologna on one side, Ravenna , Rimini and the Adriatic coast on the other side are easy to reach by train or by car in 60 to 90 minutes.

HOW TO GET THERE

la Casina sul Sandalo is in the small village of Sandolo , hamlet of Portomaggiore, situated in Ferrara province (Emilia Romagna, Italy ).

The "Sandalo", after which the little house is named, is one of the now extinct branches of the Po river, on which in ancient times (around the XII century) the centre of Portomaggiore (Portus Major) grew up. The Casina sul Sandalo is situated right near the ancient course of Sandalo river.

By car: motorway A 13 (Bologna Padova), Ferrara Sud exit. Follow highway Ferrara-Mare (Ferrara-Portogaribaldi) up to Gualdo exit. Following indications for Portomaggiore, get to Runco village, then turn left on the one traffic light and drive on until Sandolo.

By train: the nearest railway station (approx. 4 km) is Portomaggiore (Ferrara ).

The train stop is the terminus of the railway line Bologna-Portomaggiore and one of the main railway stops on the line Ferrara - Ravenna - Rimini.

From the station you can reach Sandolo by taxi.

By plane: The nearest airport is the Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna, where you will find a shuttle bus to the railway station and from there get to Portomaggiore by train or rent a car.

THE HOUSE

The Casina sul Sandalo, completely indipendent, is composed of a wide living room, a bathroom with shower, one double room and one small sky-lit room with an additional bed, this means sleeping accommodation for 4.

There is room enough to locate an additional cradle if you have one. If you need us to arrange a cradle for you, kindly let us know in advance.

It is also provided with a kitchen fully equipped and a wide refrigerator, color-TV, hairdryer.

PRICES & BOOKING

The Casina sul Sandalo is a fully equipped, completely independent accommodation.

The price for the use of the whole structure, including the services as described, varies minimum of 120 € to a maximum of 240 € per night, depending on the number of persons and period of the year.

Special conditions for longer stays can be agreed upon when booking.

Payment terms: Payments by bank draft or cash, as we do not accept credit cards.
